Security and data
Who can access ratings and what happens if the connection drops.

Access to a tasting
You enter a competition through your account. Invitations are intended for a specific email address. Access to data depends on your organization and competition role.
Ratings and private notes
Judges receive the sample details the organizer has permitted. Chairs and organizers do not see private notes.
For guest tastings, the host sees wine summaries from the first response. With one response, the summary reflects one guest’s rating. Their name and private notes are not included.
We share a guest’s email address with the host only with their confirmation for one offer. See the privacy information for permission and retention details.
If the connection drops
To continue judging, the tasting must already be loaded on your device. Scores are kept on that device during a connection drop. Check that your evaluation has been submitted after reconnecting.
Viewing other panels’ live progress requires a connection.
Hosting and providers
Vercel hosts the website, Supabase provides accounts and the database, and Resend sends emails. The pilot agreement must cover data processing by these providers.
Pilot operation
TASTR has no security certification and does not guarantee uptime. Operational monitoring, incident procedures and data-recovery verification are part of preparation for public operation.
Support, exports and handling of personal-data requests are agreed in the pilot agreement.
Report a problem
Describe what happened and on which page, and email jakub@winefreak.cz. Do not include passwords, access links, ratings or private notes in your first email. We’ll agree a safe way to share further details.
